Having watched the documentary: The Force – The murder of Sadie Hartley, I came away feeling that the callousness of the perpetrators could not be underestimated. Sarah Williams, who was found guilty of the murder appeared throughout as cool and calculating as well as not showing any remorse. It was mentioned that she had a relationship with a married man who had provided for her for many years. In addition to that, she sort other relationships with other married men. As the OW she really is an embodiment of something that could only be described as vile. To the BS she had contact with whilst she was conducting relationships with their partners I can only shudder at the thought at what they had encountered in this woman. Her partner in crime, Katrina Williams, came across as a very odd and weak character who was prepared to follow through with the evil plan to the bitter end. Yet, when she was arrested and brought into custody she had no qualms about putting the blame squarely on Sarah's shoulders. All in all this was a painful documentary to watch as well as heartbreaking. An innocent woman was butchered because of the OW who had a fixation on her partner. Absolutely awful.
...Why does the pain of an affair hurt so much? That question can only be truly answered by those who have experienced it, and as someone who has, I hope this blog can offer some insight to the agony that you are facing.
